The Quilt Alliance presents "We Are the Story Panel Discussion" on September 30 at 1 p.m. CDT.

Join Quilt Alliance board member and founder of the Women of Color Quilters Network, Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi, in conversation with Karl Reichert, executive director of the Textile Center. We Are the Story is a a multi-site initiative of quilt exhibitions curated by Dr. Mazloomi and presented by Textile Center & Women of Color Quilters Network. Michelle Flamer a WCQN member with works included in We Are the Story exhibitions, will moderate. "We Are the Story group and solo exhibitions will build upon symbols of liberation, resistance, and empowerment, offering a visually compelling account of the breadth of experiences and struggles that comprise Black history in an honest and critical way."
