Join us for our 10th Annual National Quilting Day at the International Quilt Museum on Saturday, March 16, 2019, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

This free community event will include block printing, bracelet making, handwork demonstration, collections care, Quilts of Valor and more! The lecture schedule for this year's event includes: 

  • "Collecting and Recollecting: Contemporary Quilts in Western India" by Marin Hanson at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • "Quilts of Valor" by Sara Kenny at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
  • "Crafting Culture" by Claire Nicholas & Surin Kim at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • “I Like It All” trunk show by Peg Pennell at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Free parking is available in all university lots and ala carte lunch is available for purchase.
