Friends of IQM

Friends of International Quilt Museum is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to supporting the mission of the International Quilt Museum through fundraising, educational opportunities and social events.

The Friends are making a difference. We welcomed 1100 visitors to Art Market 2024, with 18 artists including our Friends Table. During the Art Market, we experienced an increase in total gross sales of 50% over our prior year. In total, we raised $17,500 to benefit the museum!

The International Quilt Museum is located on the University of Nebraska – Lincoln's East Campus, and houses the largest publicly held quilt collection in the world. It's our mission to build a global collection and audience that celebrates the cultural and artistic significance of quilts. Each person has something to gain from and offer our community of learning, discovery, and outreach.
