August First Friday: La Dolce Vita Concert
Performance begins at 5:30 PM in the IQM Reception Hall
Admission to the museum is free from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

La Dolce Vita is a flute (Lindsay Bartlett) and guitar (Antonio Forgione) duo based in Lincoln, NE. They feature original works for this lesser-known ensemble, coupling the masterworks of the repertoire with more entertaining pieces from Central and South American composers, providing a dancelike flair to the classical style. The performance begins at 5:30 PM.

Student Speakers: The Arts and Humanities Focus Program and NAACP Youth participants from Thread by Thread have been invited for opportunity to speak about their work in the Beavers Gallery at 6:30 PM.
