"Healing and the Humanities" Panel
Join the International Quilt Museum for a thought-provoking panel discussion on "Healing and the Humanities" on Thursday, September 6.
Held in conjunction to the exhibition "War and Pieced: The Annette Gero Collection of Quilts from Military Fabrics," the panel will be moderated by Carolyn Ducey, IQM curator of collections, and feature guests:
* Virginia Aita, University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Public Health, retired
* Mark Hall, public speaker on military history
* Stacy C. Hollander, chief curator at American Folk Art Museum
* Sheila A. Ryan, professor and director of International Programs at University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing
A pre-panel reception will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the discussion set to start at 5:15 p.m. This event is FREE and open to the public.
