We will explore the exhibition "Old World Quilts." We’ll learn about the late 1700s through American Girl dolls Felicity and Elizabeth, quilts, stitching, games and snacks. The children hand applique animal shapes, making wall art. We’ll discuss a day in the life of a child in the 1700s vs. today. During the snack time--tea party, we will learn proper manners and take turns using “table talk” conversation cards. We will learn about food from the period, food preservation and preparation.

Morning and afternoon sessions are available from 10 a.m.-Noon and 1:30-3:30 p.m. respectively.
