Join the International Quilt Museum on Sept. 13 at 2 p.m. EDT for a Textile Talk with artist Annamaria Brenti. Hear about Brenti's technique and inspiration as well as some tips for the quilter travelling to Italy!

Born in Sardinia and raised in Florence, Italy, Brenti graduated with a degree in mathematics prior to relocating to the United States. It was there Brenti discovered a passion for American quilt styles.
Her pictorial quilts are a combination of her Italian cultural background as well as her love of quiltmaking and mathematics. An exhibition of Brenti's work will be on display in the Pumphrey Family Gallery from Sept. 20 through Feb. 17.
