What fun we’ll have weaving a Chinese lantern and making a cherry tree fan! We’ll enjoy tea with some delicious treats. We will explore the exhibitions "Chinese Quilt Today” and “Starting a Family: Chinese Folk Textiles for Marriage and Children.” The featured American Girl dolls will be Spring Pearl, an American Girl Doll of Many Lands and Ivy Ling, a 10-year-old Chinese American. We’ll talk about Chinese quilts, related textiles, Chinese traditions and life in China today. We'll recreate morning exercise in the park in China with our fans.

All are encouraged to bring their favorite doll.
