The International Quilt Museum is partnering with Lincoln Welcoming Week for an International Textiles Show-and-Tell where people from around the world share their favorite textiles and the stories behind them!

This event will take place in the International Quilt Museum Reception Hall on Sept. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Enjoy free admission to the museum and refreshments.

Also, enjoy the opening of the exhibition “Starting a Family: Chinese Folk Textiles for Marriage and Children” on display in the Beaver’s Gallery from Sept. 19 through Nov. 11. This special exhibition is curated by students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Saitama University in Japan as part of a textile-focused museum exhibition course.
