Quilt Transfer Ceremony

Join us for a traditional quilt transfer ceremony by Navajo/Diné quilt artist Susan Hudson, a 2024 NEA National Heritage Fellow, as she officially presents her quilt, “29 Warriors, Honoring the Navajo Code Talkers”, to the International Quilt Museum for its permanent collection. A recording will be presented on Textile Talks on July 15.

The International Quilt Museum is located on the University of Nebraska – Lincoln's East Campus, and houses the largest publicly held quilt collection in the world. It's our mission to build a global collection and audience that celebrates the cultural and artistic significance of quilts. Each person has something to gain from and offer our community of learning, discovery, and outreach.
