National Quilting Day – March 20, 2027

National Quilting Day is held annually on the third Saturday in March. The International Quilt Museum celebrates this day with free museum admission, demonstrations, special lectures and displays. Free parking is available in all UNL parking lots north of the IQM, at 33rd & Holdrege and at Hardin Hall (including restricted lots) at the University of Nebraska's East Campus. Sit down, relax and enjoy this year’s informative programs! Lunch will be available for those who want to spend the entire day at the International Quilt Museum.

Give to Lincoln Day 2027

Support the International Quilt Museum through your donation to Friends of the International Quilt Museum during Give to Lincoln Day 2027. Gifts  can be made online beginning May 1, 2027. We thank the generous donors who collectively contributed $14,028 in 2026 to the Friends of the International Quilt Museum. 

Your donation during this campaign makes a bigger impact because nonprofits also receive a proportional share of a match fund provided by Lincoln Community Foundation and their generous sponsors, including presenting sponsor West Gate Bank. Our match in 2026 pushed the total raised to over $15,000!
