Jamie Swartz is the collections manager at International Quilt Museum. He holds a Bachelors of Art in Art History from Minnesota State University-Moorhead and a Master of Art in Material Culture and Textile Studies at University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Prior to his role as collections manager, Jamie was the museum's collections assistant working in accessioning recent acquisitions, as well as caring for and photographing the collection. Jamie holds the unique distinction of having worked in three different departments at the museum: collections, exhibitions and operations. Before joining the IQM staff full time, Jamie worked in exhibitions where he assisted in installation, built mounts and designed lighting.
