The Lincoln Arts Festival (LAF) will take place on June 15 and 16 this year in the Lincoln Haymarket, and YOU (and your family) are invited to create a banner that will hang over the street during the festival!

The International Quilt Museum will be hosting FREE banner-making workshops for anyone that might be interested in creating a banner for this event. The first 15 registrants will also get a FREE banner and materials to decorate it. This would be the perfect project for an individual, duo, parent/child pair, or whole family to work on together.

The purpose of these workshops is to provide participants with the ideas, space, and materials they might need to create their banner.  Workshop dates are May 4, 11, 18, 25, and June 1 in the IQM Seminar Room and participants can come anytime from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come to as many or as few workshops as you’d like; you are also welcome to work on your banner at home. 

Banners are due June 1 and can be turned into Lindy at IQM, or to the Lincoln Arts Council at 350 Canopy Street in Lincoln.
