Artworks are generously incorporated into the legendary Burning Man gathering. While several hundred pieces of art are officially placed by the organization, hundreds more can be found at independent, themed camps strewn across the Nevada desert location.

Join IQM Executive Director Leslie Levy and retired Wall Street Journal reporter Meg Cox as they explore the imaginative textile arts of Burning Man, including the textiles used in costumes and festival structures.

Textile Talks is a weekly virtual event featuring presentations and panel discussions from the International Quilt Museum, Quilt Alliance, Studio Art Quilt Associates, and Surface Design Association.Textile Talks are held online every Wednesday at 2 p.m. eastern.
