Quilt artist Ben Venom is set to join IQM Collections Assistant Jaime Swartz for our next edition of Textile Talks on Feb. 21! Under the banner of aggressive music, motorcycle culture and skateboarding, Venom makes quilts that look like a punk rock show sounds — abrasive, loud, and fun. Venom’s quilts are usually comprised of reclaimed fabrics including used jeans, workwear, donated band t-shirts and the like.
